Would I Fetch More if I Were a Zombie?

July 2nd, 2007

I’m kind of into dead bodies lately. I just read Stiff by Mary Roach, and I recommend it highly to those who are not squeamish and who are curious about dead bodies and what happens to them once they have become dead.

So you can imagine that when I saw this quiz at KLee’s, I had to go do it. Turns out I’m worth more that I thought I would be. Cool.

You’re worth more than I am. 🙂 I have yet to finish “Stiff”, because I only read it while I’m at the bookstore. I haven’t given in and purchased it yet, but I’m leaning that way. (this is also how I read all but the last chapter of “Darkly Dreaming Dexter.” Yes, I know — I’m a sad individual.)

If forensic-y things are your interest, I read “Carved in Bone” by Jefferson Bass not so long ago, and it was a crime/forensic novel based off the Body Farm, the death research facility made famous by Patricia Cornwell.

And, I’m partial to the work of Aaron Elkins and Beverly Connor. If you got any books to point me in the direction of, I’d love to hear of them. Maybe we can trade?

I noticed that when I answered the question about having had my appendix out, the amount jumped up. Have you had yours out? Maybe that was the difference?

I just emailed you about the books.
